Tubulin Polymerisation Assay

A biochemical tubulin polymerisation assay has been set up to confirm the mode of action of free payloads interfering with tubulin polymerisation.

In this assay, porcine neuronal tubulin is allowed to polymerise in the presence of a fluorescent reporter that incorporates into microtubules. Compounds that interfere with tubulin polymerisation will alter the fluorescence profile of the biochemical reaction.
