Position: Scientist (Assay Development Group)

Antitope is a service company specialising in immunogenicity testing and antibody humanization. Along with our sister company, PolyTherics, we have a clinically proven strategy for the development of better biopharmaceuticals. Our facilities on the Babraham Research Campus near Cambridge (UK) offer a central location to scientific research and businesses.
A BSc or MSc qualified Scientist is required to join our assay development group. A degree in Biological Sciences with knowledge of immunology, protein and cell biology would be desirable, ideally with experience of working with antibodies. The successful candidate will have experience in biochemical and biological screening assays, and previous experience with cell based assays would be advantageous. Other assays used may include - HTRF, FACS, binding assays, alphascreen and reporter gene assays.
The role will include performing lab work, analysis and interpretation of results and day to day planning of research projects. A meticulous record keeping and a proven ability to deliver on time to challenging deadlines would be a significant advantage. Additional duties include documenting research findings with respect to company policy, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety guidelines and undertaking other duties relevant to the programme of research.
